Robert T. Gradoville, Esq.
Robert T. Gradoville, Esq. is a principal of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. and is President of Pension Benefit Consultants, Inc. Attorney Gradoville maintains an active legal practice in the areas of tax, business and personal planning, including estate planning/administration and employee benefits. He graduated from Duke University Law School, is a C.P.A., has an M.B.A. from Indiana University and received an L.L.M. in taxation from New York University Law School. Since 1978, he has been actively engaged in the practice of law, advising clients on a wide variety of tax and business issues. He is a member of the tax section of both the American and Connecticut Bar Associations, and since 1982 has served as an instructor in the continuing education program for the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. In 1974, he was awarded the Silver Medal by the North Carolina Society of Certified Public Accountants and in 1990, received the Distinguished Author Award from the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. In 2000, Mr. Gradoville became an adjunct faculty member in the Graduate Tax Program at the University of New Haven where he and Leonard G. Brown taught the Qualified Retirement Plan course. He has maintained an AV rating (the highest rating possible) from Martindale Hubbell Law Directory, the lawyer rating reference published by LEXIS Publishing. Mr. Gradoville has published many articles and is a frequent speaker before business and professional groups.
Leonard G. Brown, FSA, MAAA
Leonard G. Brown, FSA, MAAA is an actuary a Vice President of Pension Benefit Consultants, Inc. and oversees client consulting and compliance for all types of pension and profit sharing plans. His responsibilities include providing actuarial consulting services for defined benefit plans, including cash balance plans, and administrative services for all types of defined contribution plans, including profit sharing and 401(k) plans. He has testified as an expert witness at arbitration hearings and has provided litigation support on matters pertaining to various retirement plan issues. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary. In 1977, Lenny began his career as an actuarial analyst at Mutual of America Life Insurance Company, and after a series of promotions, became the Senior Vice President overseeing their Actuarial Consulting Services Department. Before joining Mutual of America, he received a B.A. in Mathematics from Hofstra University in New York. He has made presentations to various professional groups, including being a regular speaker at Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants’ continuing education programs.
Robin Kelly is a plan administrator with Pension Benefit Consultants, Inc. She administers all types of defined contribution plans. Her responsibilities include plan administration, preparing IRS filings and consulting with clients on their plans. She has worked in the qualified retirement plan industry since 1998. Robin began her qualified retirement plan career as an Administrative Assistant at Pension Benefit Consultants, Inc. In 2001, she became Office Manager, and moved into a Pension Consultant position in 2015.
